What happens if you hook up a cable from a satellite receiver video OUT jack to a VCR video OUT jack? Can this INCORRECT hookup damage the satellite receiver? Or will you simply receive no video output?

    unlikely you will damage anything you just wont get any picture, outputs and inputs are usually
    capacitively coupled this prevents any dc voltage from one sourge to another harming either component.....but it is possible to harm another component from a voltage spike or transient....just very very unlikely
