I do not answer my own questions unless it is at the end and make a comment Edit If I did answer my own questions i would rate other questions yes

I do it all the time. It's a fact that many answers are superior to mine, yours, or anyone else. We are all experts in something, or at least I would like to think so. :)

I will give anyone points if I like their answer, without looking to see how it affects my points or anything of that nature. I don't view Answerbag as a race for points. I see it as a way people can get the best and most diverse selection of genuine opinions and accurate facts as possible for free.

If I like the answer I will rate it up, period. I will rate people above me who I think have written good answers even if I think my answer is better. (We can't all be thinking about the position of our own answers or nobody would give out points!)

I give points to other AB'rs who have given a good effort, interesting answers and especially responses that are entertaining to me.

Yes, I will. If I think an answer's good, it's good and I rate it. When I read outstanding answers, I'm thrilled. Not to be melodramatic about it, but I find it hopeful and encouraging. I'm more than happy to rate those answers and I don't care where it places mine.

I usually don't pay that much attention to my points- usually oncea day I check my profile to see how many points I got. When I give out points, I don't even think of my score. I don't mind being generous with points- I give points to all the questions I answer, and to all the people who answer my questions whether I agree or not. I have to admit that I do hate point-snatching trolls, though.

Yes, definitely. I usually read the existing answers first and give points. A lot of times I don't bother answering because someone has given the answer I would've given so I just say great answer to them and give them points.
