How do you feel when some of the users of this site answer their own question/s when they already know the answer?

When users answer their own questions, it's usually to express their own opinion to an opinion question they asked. I don't mind it. I can't tell you how I feel when it's not an opinion question. I've never come across one =)

I think it's okay if no-one else posts the correct answer. What I don't understand is why you would look here for facts, as opposed to opinions, if you don't know the answer.

When the question is opinion based, it doesn't bother me. However, I don't think that is the point of AB to ask questions you already now the answer to.
