These questions are always subjective, but I would say it is one of the easier languages to learn. Certainly it is easier to learn and read than PERL or C/C++. It is very similar in style to ASP or JSP. If you have done programming in other languages, PHP should be very easy to pick up. If you are a first-time coder, PHP would be a good place to start because it is fairly straightforward in its syntax and there is a lot of help available for it on the web.

The best advice I can give you on this is to start with a really good book, do the examples and all of the tutorials its gives you. Once you understand the basics of the language and programming in general you will be able to program in practically any language with ease. If you have any? at all please do not hesitate to ask me a ?.

Not really. If you have experience with other languages such as java, C++, etc then you will have no problem. You should also have a basic understanding of HTML / XML before you start. If you have no prior programming experience then you should study HTML and XML first and then learn PHP. If you ask me PHP is the easiest to learn of the dynamic programming languages.

If you understand programming, you should be able to program in PHP. There are a lot of tutorials on the Internet. Just do a Google search to find them. The way I learnt programming was in a classroom. I believe I couldn't of learnt PHP without that course that I completed.

It depends on the person. I found the language easy. I've known others that didn't.
