1989 caddy with 4.5 liter died at stop light. No previous problems and no trouble lights. Had spark but changed cap and rotor anyway. Fuel injectors (TBI) spray fuel when engine is cranked over. Shows 5 gallons of gas in tank.

Need 3 things for an engine to run.
    Fuel - appropriate amount
Spark - strong blue spark and properly timed
Compression - Check the service manual for proper compression value.
