good thing. Health insurance for EVERYONE would be better. I'm sorry, I've been uninsured my whole life, am not offered insurance by my employer, do not make enough to purchase it for myself (much less my children), and do not qualify for medical assistance (although my children do). As far as I'm concerned, socialist as my idea is, I think everyone ought to pay xx% for health care. The poor pay less, but we all get the same treatment cuz we pay xx%. The more you make, the more you pay. At least that way - NO ONE could be denied. I'd imagine even an unemployed person could scrape a buck or two if it was needed for medical care.
