How often do you check the Leaderboards (if at all)? Do you look for yourself first?

I check them every now and then. Usually to see who the top ten for the week were.

I check it every now and again because it's an easy way to find the profiles of certain uers.

I just found out what it was. So needless to say, I havent been checking it too often. I think i'll start checking on it more now.

Rarely. Rank these days is essentially meaningless because it's based upon popularity, quantity of questions asked and answers written, and skill at recategorizing questions to acquire moderation points. As nevets said, however, the leaderboards do provide a somewhat convenient access to profiles. I don't look for myself at all - I know how to find my profile <laughs>. I can't even tell you what my rank is.
