Dean Richards (Deano-o) - I remember when I was young watching him get stitched up on the side of the pitch while fighting to get back on. What a guy. Or Martin Johnson, because he was such a hero and pretty much won us the world cup. But I think the best player playing now, though I hate to say it, is Chabal, the French forward. He just has so much power, and plays like a madman, it's amazing to watch.

Of all time... Michael Jones. A devastating number 8/flanker for the kiwi's. And is one of the top 5 players in the history of the game.

My uncle John "Rupert" Mudge. He played for Randwick in the 40s then went to Workington Town in 1948. He scored a try full length of the field at Wembley. I have the programme here somewhere.

Jonah Lomu. I remember being fascinated watching him play, there was no stopping him down that wing.
