No. Not until I read your question! Thanks LoL (Sorry - no point available grrrr!)

No because I don't go out to work but I can tell you that I get really ticked off when there is a legal holiday and I know all those people who are on salaries are getting paid for sitting around and doing nothing when I am not :)

No I don't because I don't go out to work but I can tell you I get very ticked off when a legal holiday comes around and I know all those people on salary are getting paid for sitting around doing nothing and I am not :) Apoligies if this appears twice. Glitch!

Nope. Then again, I have had to work many times when most people are off enjoying themselves so it kind of balances out.

Some Countries have 2 o r3 times more vacation then we do. I never feel guilty.

Payed holidays are not real. If a company couldn't afford to pay you on however many days off, they wouldn't hire you in the first place - or they would pay you a lesser wage so that paid holidays would be covered by the amount of money they didn't pay you on the days you did work. Which is probably what they do in any case. They give you 'free' time by underpaying you.
-
Absolutely NOT. Why should I?
-
No way
-
I do not have any 'payed' holidays, only paid ones.

Please define majority of working humanity? United States has paid holidays as well as Canada, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Greenland, Iceland, Ireland England and Scotland. I believe that most of the other countries have religious holidays that everyone is required to take off and cannot work, therefore paid.
