nope.

No some are smooth and have a nice kind of bite to their flavor and some smell horrible like rubbing alcohol.
-
nope. you can get flavored vodka (like smirnoff grape). also, more expensive vodka tends to have a smoother quality/taste than the cheap stuff.
-
I think to the average, casual drinker, yes. Vodka is by far the simplest of hard liquor, consisting of pure (theoretically tasteless) alcohol and water. Most people cannot taste the difference between brands of water either. To those who are more serious about vodka, there are subtle differences that arise from the quality of the distilling process, the source of the grain and the water used to dilute.

No way, the really cheap stuff tastes really bad unless its mixed with something really strong like red bull. I love absoloute vodka, its very nice. :D
-
No, Cheap stuff tends to burn going down and have an aftertaste like rubbing alcohol fumes. Good vodka is smooth feeling when you drink it and has a pleasant aftertaste, sometimes sweet, sometimes tangy, sometimes slightly bitter (depends on the brand). Also, cheap stuff will give a worse hangover than good stuff . . . trust me.

Try this for yourself. Get a bottle of Popov vodka. http://vodkabuzz.com/vodkas/popov And a bottle of Hangar One vodka http://www.spiritsreview.com/reviews-vodka-hangar-one.htm And see if you can tell the difference. If not, stick to the cheap stuff. I can tell a difference. . . .
-
Yes. Unless you have either potato vodka from Russia or one of the flavored ones, I defy anyone to say the taste is different. Try a blind taste-test.
-
Yes. When you mix it with Cola.
-
NO. If you are a beginner then yes. Cheap vodka is rougher on the throat and taste buds, plus the hang over is magnified immensely. But, if you are going to mix it and vodka tastes like rubbing alcohol to you anyways, then cheap or mid grade will do.
-
nope!
-
Nah.
-
No it doesn't =) Smirnoff is like paint stripper, I won't touch it. I really like Grey Goose though. I'm not rich enough to afford ultra-premium vodkas, but Im sure theyre even nicer too.
-
alot of people think they can tell the difference but most the time its the same, unless maybe if u drink it straight. the real difference is the hangover. the cheap stuff will make ur head go nuts as oppose to the good stuff. but if u give someone kettle and cran vs. the fleshmans and cran they wont know.

Stay clear from tesco value
-
No...but the only way you would know is if you drink the stuff straight (ugh)--vodka is best mixed with either orange juice as a screwdriver, or with grapefruit juice (another screwdriver), or in Bloody Marys...lol...long live the Russians for introducing such a wonderful substance to our society!

To most people, probably yes. To vodka connaseurs,no. There are some differences in the taste of cheap vodka and expensive vodka. In my drinking days, which are now over, I preferred "Absolute" as a brand.
