Well, that's sorta true. When matter and anti-matter annihilate, the result is a bunch of photons with a total energy given by E=m*c^2 where m is the sum of the matter and anti-matter. Really, since energy is equivalent to mass, and mass has a minimal measurable limit for any particle (when it's at rest relative to the observer), it must also have a minimal measurable amount of energy. This is called the "rest energy" of the particle, since it's the relativistic energy of a particle at rest.

i think that after Einstein had his Theory of Relativity, that they discovered that light has mass.........which would kinda affect his theory.......take care....brian.....
