There is no law forbidding driving while barefoot, in the United States.
The only possible charge relating to barefoot driving would be an auto accident, where the driver was barefoot and this was a contributing factor to the accident. the charge would be careless driving.
Its not illegal, but its not advised.

There is NO place in the USA that doesn't let you drive barefoot.
There are laws that state it IS legal to drive barefoot but no laws against it. That is a myth.

Nope. I distinctly remember this from Driver's Ed in High school. The advice was, if you were feeling drowsy while driving, taking your shoes off was encouraged. And illegal.
