  • Nope. I distinctly remember this from Driver's Ed in High school. The advice was, if you were feeling drowsy while driving, taking your shoes off was encouraged. And illegal.

  • There is no law forbidding driving while barefoot, in the United States. The only possible charge relating to barefoot driving would be an auto accident, where the driver was barefoot and this was a contributing factor to the accident. the charge would be careless driving. Its not illegal, but its not advised.
