I'm not very imaginative when it comes to naming animals. I'd probably just call it "Fishy" and be done with it.

Our beta is named "Carlton". That seems to fit.

How about Oscar, with an emphasis on the O. It would be pronounces O-scar. I dunno, its early. I have to many fish to name so they all go by "you little shits." Affectionatly of course.

I had a little goldfish and I called him Chi. Chi means life. I always thought it was appropriate and kind of cute.

I don't get into the naming of fish. I let my wife and kids do that. If they let me, it would be names like "sushi", "pan-fried", "blackened", and so forth.
