  • Take everything out, including the shelves, and wipe down the entire inside with vinegar or lemon water. Then wipe off all the shelves. When you put everything back in, put in an open box of baking soda to absorb the odor.
  • i was going to say the same as the above answer, but i also herd that coffee placed on a sheet of kitchen paper inside the fridge absorbs odours too.
  • a shallow dish of coffee will absorb odors too
  • BLEACH EVERY SURFACE INCLUDING UNDER THE FRUIT TRAYS AT THE BOTTOM OF THE FRIDGE AND THE FREEZER BECAUSE THE FREEZER AND THE FRIDGE WORK ON THE SAME VENTILATION SYSTEM. THEN BUY 2 ARM AND HAMMER BAKING SODA BOXES (THE ONE WITH THE SCREEN MADE INTO THE BOX). PUT ONE IN THE FREEZER AND ONE IN THE FRIDGE. WAIT 24 HOURS AND CHECK TO SEE IF THERE IS STILL A ODOR! ALL YOUR ODOR SHOULD BE GONE! IF YOU LIKE, YOU CAN LAVE THE BAKING SODA IN THE UNIT FOR 2 TO 3 MONTHS AND EVERYTHING (SMELL WISE) WILL STAY FRESH. GOOD LUCK!
