Though we are the ones that elect our officials to office, we remain poorly served by our congress. We as a nation think that our job is done once we hit the voting poles. It's not, our voices have to be louder than the money makers that shout at the top of their lungs about the things that they want, regardless of what it may cost the nation as a whole. We are considered the silent majority, because we refuse to lift our voices while the Loud minority throws their tantrums. Our system is superior, if it was operated the way it was designed to, but as it is running now, we are slowly moving towards a socialist government. If we want that to change, then we are the ones that need to change that, quit whining about what is going on and control what is going on, the way our fore fathers set our government up to be, For the people, by the people, and with the people.

It is true that our government is not perfect, I truley believe we would benefit from a mulitply party system (not just Democate and Republican ) Mainly because, especially in congress, the two parties seem to argue until they get themselves inot a stalemate , unable to move in any direction. Plus , we are so diverse, it is ridicualous to think that our congress can accurately represent everybody , But...when it comes down to the represenation and action of our government, I think it does a great job in trying to do the best they can. As citizans, we so get the final say in government and they only suports the idea that our government is a great extablishment is a great establishment because we can make a difference. And if anything, if congress enacts something the majority does not agree with it is our inaction that make it our inaction that makes our government ineffective. Our Senators and reps serve the US! All the instances in the past where the public has changed legislation is because people stood up, Protested, If you don't agree with a piece of legislation, you must take action so to pay our congress poorley serves due to inaction is only a result of the peoples inaction therefore we poorley serve ourselves.

Well, it is true that our government is not perfect. I truly believe we would benefit from a multiple party system (not just Dem & Rep). Mainly because, especially in Congress, the two parties seem to argue until they get themselves into a stalemate, unable to move in any direction. Plus, we are so diverse, it is ridiculous to think that our Congress can accurately represent everybody. BUT... when it comes down to the representation and action of our government, I think it does a great job in trying to do the best they can. As citizens, we DO get the final say in government and that only supports the idea that our government is a great establishment because we CAN make a difference. And if anything, if Congress enacts something the majority does not agree with, it is OUR inaction that makes our government ineffective. Our Senators & Reps serve US! All the instances in the past where the public has changed legislation is because people stood up, protested. If you dont agree with a piece of legislation, YOU must take action. So to say our Congress poorly serves due to inaction is only a result of the peoples inaction, therefore we poorly serve ourselves. And I truly do believe that.
