Used to happen frequently at the office, but I have created a formula that helps me not to forget. The answer is yes, but it was a few years ago.

Yes I have. That's why the front and side of my computer used to look like a clipboard with pieces of paper containing my passwords, scotch taped to it :)

I have over 30 passwords. I'm too lazy to remember them so I use RoboForm and protect it with one master password. If there's a password that I absolutely have to remember, I make it something that's easy to remember or to reconstruct, such as KIM.k@rd@$h1an09 (Kim Kardashian 09).

Yes, but now u can usually get it sent to your email account. If your on bout your computer, go in Safe Mode, the secret is not to forget your password, to do that, create one which u will remember, like your birth date etc.

but as long as my computer keeps working, I can keep logging in to IMs with the saved password. Just not my email - 9000 unread emails and counting

Yes! I have about 15 passwords for different systems at work and they have to be changed every 90 days so it's impossible to use the same one for all and a pain in the neck trying to remember them :)

Right now, all my passwords are in my computer which
will not turn on. Used Fire Fox which inserted them
with just a click. Can't access my email or other accounts, I'm lost without them.

It's not that I actually forget my password, but I use different ones for different sites and sometimes I can't remember which one I'm using for a particular site so I have to go through the list.
