If memory serves, it takes about 20-25mins to bleed out if you puncture an artery in your arm. If you stab the one in your groin it takes about 5mins.

also assuming you wont be clinching your chest and calling 911 because you can't breath from lack of oxygen and then the bruising that goes along with you cutting the vein....take my advice don't do it.
