Help answer this question below.
I was a good soldier, for many years.
Absolutely not. I am a United States Marine.
No, absolutely not. The only role that I could possibly serve would be as cannon fodder, but I don't think I'm stupid enough to get myself killed....so, I'm like, the last person anyone would want as a soldier.
I think so.
I was a soldier and I was pretty hopeless. I was pretty weak compared to the others and just wasn`t "gung ho" enough. The good thing was I always got sent to do the laundry. So while everyone else was crawling through the mud in the rain, I was dry and toasty warm in the laundromat sipping on a bottle of coke doing laundry.
No.
I'm lazy, out of shape, and I hate taking orders.
I would refuse to shoot or harm (or kill) anyone.
And (although I'm embarrassed to admit it) I tend to cry when people yell at me. I don't try to, the tears just come out. I cry when angry, frustrated, embarrassed, insulted... I can't imagine that would be a good thing.
I was ... Artillery, then transfered to Telecommunications, then back to Artillery ... I was also an instructor of combat arms, survival, bushcraft, fieldcraft, mountaineering, map & compass, and I was the assistant instructor for the first aid courses.
I could be a good soldier, but would not volunteer to be. I do not take orders well.
Yes, i was a good soldier, i was Avionics "A" school honorman. Number 1 out of 185. Went to Oceana Virginia, where they gave me a job cleaning toilets. Then a PO1 offered me a job in a coffee mess, i took it. I made coffee and we sold all kinds of other food. I was in there for 2 years. Then i finally got out where i worked on F-4J's NavCom electronics. I got my good conduct medal after 4 years. I was a good soldier !
Canadian Navy for 4 years. I enjoyed it, never got into much trouble (save once, a guilt by association thing) and I fit in ok. It's not for everyone and for some, well, they can tend to take it to the extreme. It's a job.
I don't think I would make a good soldier, I ask way to many questions and lack in trust/belief in authority.
Not if I was a cook or clerk. Infantry, on the other hand, is what I did and what I loved.
yes, in the navy
yes i think so. looking back I wish I had joined the Military
I must have been a good soldier because they asked me to work for CID!
No.
I don't just follow orders. I think first before I obey.
done that been thar
Well, I'm pretty loyal, work hard, play harder, and would quite happily die to save others. Yeah, i think I'd do alright. However, my physical ability is crap basically, so I'd probably end up behind the scenes
Probably not, no. i get frightened of blood and people dying...
Soldier? Try Marine, and yes i was a good one
I did make a good soldier.
I was a good airman for many years.
Yes, I would want to be a good soldier for the Lord.
I hope so. I haven't seen battle yet though, and i hate to think i would freak out and leave my friends to die.
I think there are parts of me that would make me a good soldier. I applied to be an officer in the RAF because I thought I would be great at that role, and that I would enjoy it...
Ultimately, I ended up pulling out because I didn't like the idea of spending two years in Labrador or wherever - stuck there no matter how much I may end up hating it. So that shows to me that I am not the kind of person that should be in the forces!
NOPE, not at all, I dont take orders well and I question everything!
I couldn't handle watching my friends die, and little kids get hurt.
Hell no. But I make an excellent Marine. 99-08. Semper Fi
Hell yea Stay Strong Fight Hard!
I was a good soldier for many years. The Constitution is still very dear to my heart.
Only if I could be the boss I hate taking orders but like giving them
heck no. i'm weak, easily intimidated and a big big whiner.lol
Hahahahahaha. Does a good soldier cry and refuse to touch any sort of weapon? Is a good soldier scared of everything and hates any sort of confrontation?
If so, yeah, I'd make a good soldier.
No. Because I can't stand to be yelled at.
Im not into confrontations.
Probably not. I hear the way to make it, is to just not ask questions and blindly do what your told. I would eventually want to question something.
I'd make a terrible soldier. Joined the Air Force, and my current supervisor is still pissed at the recruiter, and that was 5 years ago. Honestly, nobody in the uniform is the same person they were before they showed up at Basic, boot, or whatever the Navy is calling their little party outside Chicago.
(Who cares, its the Navy for crying outload). Just keep your head down, and don't ask them about crossing the equator, (THEY WON'T SHUT UP!!) JK - Nothing but to our swabbies.
Definatly not, if someone started shouting orders at me i would be inclined to tell them where to shove it, i havent got any discipline for that kind of thing
No, I have a problem with killing people or anything for that matter. Although if it were a war on plants I would surely win, I am really good at killing them.
No, I see the effects it takes on my other half and don't think I could go through what he goes through. I'm a great supporter for him and help him through all of the challenges he faces but that is as clsoe as I could ever get.
nope
out of shape and slow runner
far too mouthy and question way too much
that and i have an issue with shooting things whose hearts beat,
makes me queazy
.
that being said, i hope my cousin gets his ass home out of iraq because i miss him, but i do support hiim even though i don't believe in the war
I'd be lousy..I question everything and I don't do anything that makes no sense. So you see, no one would want in their command! :(
No, I'd get lost from the group LOL!
Depends on the cause.
Yes, because I am a patriot. Because I am a leader, yet humble enough and realistic enough to know I do not have all of the answers (a leader must know how to follow). I am capable of learning quickly, have self-discipline, pay attention to detail, and am tough enough to do the job that many are too cowardly to perform.
no
Sir, yes, Sir. Sir, I can follow orders and do what I'm told without answering back to my superiors, Sir!
Yes I hink I would make an excellent soldier. I like order and I think i would fit in a military life vey well
I think not, i dont deal with poeple shouting @ me nor people telling me what to do
No, I'd be questioning my authorities constantly
Yes, I'm competitive. I like sports and I like to win.
