  • hmmmmm no coz sometimes you find your soul mate online ;)
  • I've been doing the online dating thing off and on for months. I've met a lot of people by doing it. There's certainly a skill you develop, knowing what to expect, and how the whole process works, from meeting online, to get to the point where you meet in person. No, it's not a waste of time. Even if you don't find a relationship, you get dates, and that is good experience. Call it good practice, even. And while you're practicing, you just might find someone amazing. I know people who have married their online dates and they're very happy.
  • Nope, not a waste of time at all. They're very time consuming, but they will absolutely bring you dates if you put some time and effort into it. The quality of the dates depends on you. As you build skill in figuring out how the whole thing works, you'll learn how to pick the ones who will work better for you. Yes, it works.
  • I'm beginning to think that they are a total waste of time. I set up profiles on several different sites which are supposed to be strictly intended for quick and casual hook-ups, and while I have gotten tons of initial messages from females, only five of them ever wrote back after I responded. And out of that group, only one woman even remotely interested me, but after a few messages, I'm starting to think she might be a basket case.
