Reaching self enlightenment: Self enlightenment is the point at which one truly understands and accepts themselves the way they are. There is no "fitting in" or "impressing others". Oftentimes sex is used (subconsiously) as a way to fill in areas within ourselves we never fully understood. Those areas, which we may feel uncomfortable with or uneasy are in turn replaced with the overwhelming feeling one gets from "sex", which ultimately leads to even more confusion, mixed emotions, and chaos. At this point, emotions are getting so strong that some may reach the surface (conscious), and be misinterpreted as love or some other kind of passion which then may spark the idea of a relationship. With the struggles of a relationship and the emotions already being faced, there are now two worlds of chaos: the one within whomever it may be, and the partner. In conclusion, this explains why so many relationships die. If one does not truly know oneself and therefore love oneself, one cannot love another. So, you may ask "How does all this have anything to do with being better than sex?" simple, sex hinders you from self-growth (if it is used for pleasure which most people do), and self enlightenment does the exact opposite; helps you grow and reach your fullest potential. If anybody actually read all that and made it this far, first of all I would like to say this was not meant to condemn anyone, most of it was based on my own opinions, and second thank you for your time!
