Do you answer silly and irrelevant questions on AB or only the more serious ones?

Well, let me just say this about that. Yes. I believe the answer is yes. By that I mean, how do you define "Is"? If so, then yes. By the way, our little dog Checkers is dead now, so you can have him back. Remember, I am not a crook! I'm a felon.

I try to stick to answering the serious ones only. Still there are times when I must answer the questions of my points chasing friends just to keep them happy. Compulsions of Answerbagging.

I look for the serious questions I know an answer to, but I'll gladly jump into a thread that's silly or humorous if I think I have a good comeback.

I tend to stay on the silly side of AB....I do this for enjoyment not information....and every now and then I do learn something if I am not careful........

For me, its about a 50/50 split.

I try to answer both provided the silly ones are written in a way that they prompt an instant answer.

Silly/irrelevant is very subjective. I ask whimsical questions when I am in a whimsical mood. If you label them as "silly/irrelevant" simply ignore them..pass them by..wait for the serious/profound/meaningful questions. You answer what appeals to you. I answer what appeals to me. I don't label any question silly or irrelevant because that would mean that my subjective judgment is better than anyone else's and that would mean that I believe I am way smarter than anyone else and I'm not! Different strokes! :)

On here they are the same thing... So is something like this serious, or silly? Both? "Is I prego, yo? I jus did it but i was on top, so i cant get prego , rite? Im 13"

I try to stick to serious ones too unless I see in the question comedy allowed... Sometimes those can be fun to read if the question is open to interesting posts...

I answer whatever appeals to me at the moment; but I also answer questions wherein I feel I actually have some knowledge and/or information to share that others would feel is useful to them in some way.

To me there is no dumb question~ someone is out there writing to pass the time or maybe they really are weird but for whatever reason it is good to just say *HI*
