It contains 13 volumes containing 1.5 million words. It is listed in the Guinness Book of Records as the longest novel. The longest English novel is between Clarissa by Samuel Richardson and A Dance to the Music of Time by Anthony Powell (sometimes seen as a novel sequence). Mission Earth by L.
