It has in my book! All the big news stations do this when there is something sensational that they can milk for ratings without really doing any "new" work.

For that particular story, yes. It lost credibility when their own anchor asked if Anna Nicole was still dead.

I don't know about its' credibility, but it's respect among its' competitors...definately. I mean, there is a war going on they could be reporting on.

I don't think so. They just stupidly wasted alot more air time on it than they should have spent. It won't affect their credibility to most people. But it might get a producer or someone fired or admonished by his or her boss!
