I agree with the answers that have been posted so far. Sometimes I'll UR an answer if I like it but I don't have the time then to give it the answer it deserves. What's your highest rated question without an answer?

I have noticed that lately. I think it might be "friends" giving points for questions because they are your friend but they may not necessarily be interested in answering the question.

We have groups of very kind people who go through AB and give points here and there...I think probably they feel that if they were to take the time to comment it would slow them down and they want to point up as many questions/answers as they can. Then there are others who only acknowledge your participation by giving out points but have nothing to say..I think a simple "thank you" would be nice but perhaps it doesn't occur to them! :)

It's not like we can redeem them for cash or prizes. If they agreed with us and commented we'd only get some iteration of "me too". Comments for DRs would be far more useful, as they'd let us know where the disagreement is.
