Special as to say that I was the youngest one In my family and I was the spoiled one.

I don't think anything much special went into it. But my father decided to put me in the Sanskrit High School when I had finished my primary Schooling. My two eleder siblings had gone to regular schools where the native language was the First Language. In my case my father perhaps thought I must go to the only school where Sanskrit will be the First Language. May be he found I will benefit from the Language. And he was right. I did find Sanskrit a very interesting option and continue its study to this day!

Well my Dad died when I was not quite two and I am the youngest of 7 - so my Mom supported us all - but she was so tired all the time - my oldest sister stepped up to the plate. I feel like I had a good childhood despite the hardness of it - she did her best and loved us all. You do what life gives you and if it is lemons you make lemonaide!

They took advantage of the theory a child's mind is like playdoh, due to the division of divorce, I was rearranged, with an evident indentation

Came from a dysfunctional family. But you know what. I didn’t go out and do a life of crime like lots of these bleeding heart convicts when they get caught. First thing they do is blame it on there terrible childhood. Stuff like that makes me sick to hear. You make your life, not your parents.

My dad always made me feel special. My mom did if and only if I met her expectations. There were no strings attached to my dad's approval but there were some attached to my mom's! :)
-
Not at all. In a discussion I was having with one of my sisters, she described us as just "extras"! I felt more like the maid.
-
Not very. Sad to say.

My parents loved me. Dad would give me shoulder rides but walk under low doors. Mum put pork chops around my neck so the dog would play with me. :(

I was the youngest of five and though I was last in line for everything I felt pretty darn special, but they treated all of us pretty much as equals. I can't at all say I had bad parents at all. My dad was strict when we were kids, but loosened up as we got older. I did the same with mine. Age mellows parents in most, but not all cases. It certainly did mine and did with me.. Good question S ;)
