Well, I heard that american money is worth 7 times as much as chinese money (I don't know if it's different now from when I heard about it) so $674 in american would be roughly $4718 in chinese money. A person who makes that much in american money would be considered well-off so probably a salary of that much would make a chinese person at least middle class, if not rich. Then again, I don't know much about the economical systems or taxes. I did see a show one time about houses in china and a apartment for one person in the better part of town was like 3-4 million in thier money. So I suppose it would depend on if they live in the country or city and what kind of neighborhood. I guess in the country, a person who made that kind of money would be rich but in the city, they'd be about middle-class.
