You must be kidding!!! To hell with the ring you are supposed to be focused on the love you have for the guy. The ring is supposed to be just a symbol of his love for you, what has price got to do with it. OMG I just don't understand what most people think real love is anymore.

As long as the fiancee likes it.. I see no problem getting a fake diamond, etc. Just don't tell her where you got it or how much it cost. It's not about the object; a ring is just a symbol.
