Ive seen them 100ft high in Kathmandu. For any plant to keep growing it needs light, the right amount of water (including not too much), space for roots, nutrients, and freedom from pests and disease. Keep if well fed, not overwatered, and in the light. They will grow slowly in the shade, and not tolerate cold and damp conditions, nor extreme dryness from central heating turned up to max.

They can grow to be full sized trees, 200 feet tall outdoors in the right climate. Grow it in a light area, as dark conditions will make it spindly. Don't overwater, but don't let it get dry either. Well drained soil and decent humidity helps, too.

Mine got over 15 feet tall from about an inch at first. I had it for years.
