I doesn't bother me. I have gay friends. I tell them I have not problem with gays, just don't try to make me one.

Huh, I don't know about the apathetic part - but I was once in a gay pride parade pushing my gay friends wheelchair, ( he had just been in a major motercycle accident and coudn't walk ). Actually I hate parades - but I was just there doing a good deed for a friend.....my mood as I recall was slightly annoyed & tired - , ( all the shouting and noise got to me, ), but I didn't feel really bothered or worried about anything....hay, he asked - and I said sure - that's what friends do for each other isn't it?

Yeah. Most gays ignore you once you tell them your straight. Just be sure to have an explanation handy.

If one is secure in ones self and isn't close-minded and prone to believing in assinine stereotypes, why would one have any apprehension of being in a room with gay people of the same gender, hmmm??
