  • try www.nimh.nih.gov but remember, only a liscenced psychologist/psychiatrist can actually diagnose you. don't freak out. tests are flawed. if you think there is really something wrong, and it is interfering with your normal function in every day life, you need to seek professional help.
  • A start might be the most recent edition of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual (DSM 5 I believe, or could be 6 by now). In there they list all the currently defined mental disorders and how to diagnose them. Typically there is a list, say for disassociative identity disorder (formerly multiple personality disorder), they'll list a number of traits, and in order to qualify as having DID a person must have at least so many on the list. I'm sure self diagnosis is not recommended, but if you can be brutally honest, it can point you in what could be the right direction.
