  • definitely..then i started looking for yours..jk
  • Yes, but the first thing I looked for was the Great Wall. It wasn't hard to find or anything, but something compelled me to look at that first.
  • I did once, but the image was well over 3 years old, so it was hard to identify anything. I have yet to look for a place I know that has a current image. Hopefully they will rectify that in the future.
  • My house happens to be located in a sector where several satalites overlap, so you can see it really clearly. You can see my car, and my little sister's trampoline. It's freaky.
  • My house is in an area that is not mapped really well and you cannot see my place although I can identify the steet and river. I have noticed that the township I live in has features easy to identify but the image is over two years old.
  • Yes it was a little old though because it shows our aboveground swimming pool that we tore down about 3 years ago, but it was pretty cool to see.
  • Yes, recently actually. As most people are saying, the images are outdated. It had the pool that we have torn down, and several trees we cut down for safety reasons.
  • The actual satellite photos on google earth and google maps were taken in 2002, not long after September 11th 2001, as you can see where the footprint of WTC 1 and 2, and the foot print of WTC 7 that supposedly was brought down by explosives by the NYFD. Just thought I would throw that one in there. Being a cospiracy theoryist I have looked at Area 51 and other "top secret" military installations but they are blurred out to a degree, you can't get close enough to see any UFO's, I have also looked at the Roswell UFO crash site and you can get an overview of the land quite well. I have looked over my home town, my house, and have a pic of it on the wall along with downtown Austin and it's new tower built in honor of the Masonic God Molok. I have looked over toward Greenland and have seen that the ice sheets are melting which is probable evidence of global warming which marks the coming end of mankind. Scientist say if we don't do something soon our planet will trap so much CO2 that our atmosphere will change into something similar to the atmosphere of Venus... So I think google Earth is a pretty good obituary pic for the planet Earth.
