  • Generally, Feul Economy (Fuel Economy Measurement). Unfortunately, it is not "Gas Kilometerage," however funny that may sound in my head. :(
  • We use a very different word. "Average". Usually someone asks "how much average does your car give?" It is subconsciously understood be kilometers or miles as is the case.
  • "What is the Average mileage of your car?" would be the question in the UK or "how many miles does it do to the gallon?"
  • Liters per 100kms is the term here in Germany. If you want to know the average that is the question you ask
  • Depending on where you are, some people still refer to it as 'mileage', but the industry term is 'Fuel Efficiency', and is measured in 'Litres per hundred kilometers', as opposed to 'Miles per Gallon'. 10 Litres per hundred kilometers (an average benchmark) equates to 23.9 Miles per (US)Gallon, or 28.24 Miles per (UK)Gallon. *Source: http://www.teaching-english-in-japan.net/conversion/kilometers_per_liter
  • Liters per kilometer sounds the closest. Oh well, I'll just stick with my gallons per mile. The gas hog that my car is won't get miles per gallon.
  • In sweden, it's generally litres/10 km, since a swedish "mil" is 10 km.
