Help answer this question below.
it should not affect anything really. it is just a misdemeanor that carries a up to a two year sentence instead of the usual one year sentence for regular misdemeanors. plus it is processed through the circuit court like a felony. i had one back in 2000 and it hasnt affected me much but whoever i talk to about it has a different answer. i have been told by lawyers that there is no such thing that it is just a felony and by others that its a misdemeanor. there is a lot of confusion about it but try looking up circuit court misdemeanors its the same thing. Michigan legislature defines it as a misdemeanor with a longer prison term.
what counrty? USA here! misdemeanor's go away here!
