Because they are successful! Ask Bill Shatner about it! His WORLD CLASS STANDARDBRED horses are the marvel of the world! Those quarter horses he has are alright also! Those Standardbred animals of his START at 1.5 million dollars an animal!!!!

so they can keep the price down....I'm sure you can find different colors in some weird specialty shop for more flamboyant men.....lol horse jockeys are not all white.

jockeys are not always white. There are black jockeys and even more obvious, there are many hispanic jockeys

I don't think that they are always white, but the horse-racing industry is a very closed world. Most people in it come from families that have been in the industry for generations, and tend to hire people who come from the same group. It is difficult for anyone outside the group, white or coloured, to break in to the closed circle. And because jockeys have historically been white, so they are still.

Great question. Never thought of it before but I think you are right. Maybe there aren't many really small and/or short people of color who like horses.
