Is it true that people start seeing past loved ones right before death? If it is how soon before death does it start happening?

I do not really know.However when one of my relatives was dying of cancer in hospital many years ago, he was murmering the names of his sister and mother who had died many years previously and some other things that I could not understand. He was a very religious man who expected to be greeted by dead relatives in Heaven.However, he was not fully conscious and he was full of extremely strong pain killers.He could have been hallucinating. About a week later, he died.

my grandmother said that right before her mother died that she raised her hand up to someone who wasnt there and said "hold on Afton baby, mama's comin". Afton was my grandmas baby brother who died when he was 4. she died moments later. makes me teary eyed just thinking about it, nice to know her baby boy was taking her to heaven.

My mom saw her father ... I'm not sure how I know this. Caregiver told me, I think.

Lots of times it happens days before so it can be properly documented for the unbelievers.

Yeah, when your brain is winding down, it fires random electrical impulses through your mind that is interpreted as seeing relatives, some see the light coming toward them, they see all types of things from the chemicals going haywire.
