That's a loaded question! My opinion is ok in moderation. If my daughter wanted to be in one, I'd let her, (or my son), but, I do not like the idea of the full glitz pageants. Most of the time in full glitz you could end up paying thousands of dollars on a dress. Also, full glitz seems to require make up and I wouldn't want my daughter wearing make up until 13 or so depending on what it was. A pageant that is about a natural looks and inner beauty is something appealing to me. I would be hesitant to have my child in a full glitz pageant, but I do not have anything against them. Mothers or guardians that push the child into it is another story. I am not for that. I also do not like the idea of entering more than one pageant every 3 or 4 months. I do like the show Little Miss Perfect, but I'd like to avoid being in that type of atmosphere.
