I totally agree - it is the comments and feedback that lead to new insights, new ideas and an understanding of the reasons for differing opinions. We are not concerned if you disagree with us, but it is enlightening to know why!!!
-
I wish ratings came with comments. That's the way it should be.
-
Same here. As long as the comments are not just there to create offence.
-
I believe you, because apparently you have three well deserving contributors on here that you have yet to rate.
-
i think I agree 100%
-
I like comments wth the points as to why.
-
Maybe if the comments weren't all so condescending it would be a bit more appreciated. Otherwise I would agree.
-
If you rate me....please comment.
-
a comment. i get to see why i got the rating i got. or why someone disagree or agrees with me.
-
I like a comment more because I like seeing what others say about my answers.
-
Comments are funner. :)
-
Comments are where the real debates and discussions take place. I "get to know" ABer's in the comments section.
-
Im a comment addict. I cant get enough of them.
-
Probably Both!
-
The comments. They are great.
-
A comment cause you can get to know a lot of people with comments and ratings just help you to up levels and thats not the reason why I'm here.
-
I get annoyed when people comment yet don't rate. And sometimes vice versa. I think the two should go hand in hand. Hi lovey! =)
-
Ratings. Then comments.
-
I really enjoy the comments but the ratings show true appreciation. IMHO.
-
I like both..
-
I prefer the comments.
-
I like getting comments. It's more personal and I feel more noticed that way.
-
I would prefer to know where people come from no matter what. Points are vague.
-
I like both , it is all part of Answerbag
-
I would be more happy if they leave a comment.
-
I like to get comments the most, but as long as they give me points I really don't care what they do.
-
I prefer comments so that you know how others feel about what you have written but if I get no points or comments thats ok too. I know how all consuming it can be if you ask a question and get a loads of answers at once, trying to respond to everyone can be really hard.
-
If something is moved to comment, good or bad, that's good. I think that is really what Answerbag is all about, people responding to people. But if they don't want to that's fine, too.
-
i have always been a fan of comments..my motive for being here is more social than competitive!
-
I appreciate points, but I really enjoy comments. The exchange of dialogue is what AB is about for me. I don't mind of someone leaves positive points with no comment but I would prefer those give negative points to also leave a comment. If you don't agree with an answer, state why. Otherwise, you appear petty and afraid of challenge.
-
The comments are much more favorable to me. One comment to me, has more value than any amount of points on AB. It's the social network that counts.
-
when i first came on here...i was all about the ratings...but i definitely prefer the comments and interaction over the ratings....
-
I definitely dig comments over ratings. I'd rather have someone tell me what they thought with words moreso than numbers.
-
Comments are better than ratings, I like know how people feel about things and a number doesn't tell you that.
-
Points are nice to give and receive, but comments are definitely better.
-
They mean more than just a number. And what's more, u get to know what they truly feel from their usage of words.
-
I like both because i do both
-
I think you're being disingenuous
-
I like 'em both... Comments are the fun part... The points, I've said before, are "gravy"... Very TASTY gravy! LOL ;-)
-
I think you deserve some points!
-
points, give me points. i am looking at level fifty five. lots of people leave comments, for points recieved. like thanks spinner. i dont do that. i like comments. it nice to know there is anoher human at the other end. its nice to learn something new. or get a new interest to follow up on Google. ratings. give me ratings.
-
comments, I like to talk to people!
-
Good for you. Different strokes for different folks.
