Yes, in America it's usually gun humor. In Canada it's cold weather humor. In Japan it's surprise the shit out of a rube humour. In Medicine it's balancing the humours.

oh totally! i think a lot of Irish humour would be frowned upon in the US. because we are not politically correct in our humour for the most part anyway!!

I think there is a definate different between British and American humour, it's hard to pin point exactly what it is though. I have never been in another country long enough to fully immerse myself into their way of living, but I imagine it varies greatly from region to region, from country to country.

Even in different regions of America, people have different senses of humor. look at Washington, DC, and the humor comming from the Three Stooges running the country.

Yes, It's hard sometimes to understand some national jokes without living there.
