  • ...and how would you subtly let her know that you're interested in her? I have an enormous crush on my neighbor, whom I spend an incredible amount of time with. Him and I live right next door to eachother when usually when he leaves my house and gets home, he'll call me and we'll end up talking for another 45 minutes over the phone. This is just one of many small signs that say he may be interested, too. The problem is, neither one of us will make a move. I don't think I've been too good at letting him know I think he's awesome. We're both jokesters so we spend a lot of time being sarcastic with eachother. I can't come straight out and tell him because there is always that chance of ruining everything. What does a woman do to you to let you know that she's interested?
  • There's always the slow escalation of physicality. Such as hugs getting longer and/or tighter - although you may not be in the habit of hugging now. How about going out for a meal? Or offering to prepare one for him?
  • I've done that a few times. :) We go on hikes together, too. He'll call me and say he's taking his dog on a walk and I'll say "have fun" or whatever and he always assumes that I'm going with him. It's kind of cute. When he rents movies, he just brings them over to my house so I can watch them before he returns them. The other day on a hike he said, "You should stand behing that sign since it's your last name and get a naked picture!" I said, "Yeah.. sure.. I'll come back later and do that!" and he says, "Hey, I'll take the picture if you want." It was a joke, but the fact that he said it made me wonder....
  • Sometimes you just need to have enough faith in the relationship. As I said in the other question, you should do more subtle things like grabbing his hand. Prepare a romantic dinner. You might not even have to do anything other than just making the mood romantic. There are lots of subtle things you can do, but you have to be willing to do them. If your friendship is that strong and this isn't what he wants, then it should be able to sustain a small hand holding.
