It's one of my favorite things to do, but with work & family, I rarely have the option!

All the time, or at least when I can.

Usually only when I'm ill.

Yes I have after being awake for 1 week !
-
Not with MY wife!
-
Only after working the entire previous night away.
-
I stayed up for 192 hours once. Then I slept for 72 hours. I have a disease that makes this happen to me.
-

Nope, but I would be prepaired to do it with you. :P

Just about .... My nephew and I stayed up until about midnight , which is nothing really special for me ... BUT; I woke up and looked at the clock abd it was 5:00 and I THOUGHT am ..until I looked outside and saw it was daylight ... checked my clock again and it was PM ... We cannot explain why or how we slept so late ... and thru the day ...
-
yesterday during the day I slept 5 hours away and the felt bad about it.
-
Yes, jet lag. Then depression can do it.
-
Only when I was up all night
-
yepp
-
Courtesy of depression, many more than that.
-
Yes, but it involved surgery and some Demerol.
-
Pretty much last Christmas.
-
yes today I did because I have a horrible virus and was very sick most of the day this is the first time I ve been out of bed since midnite , would not wish this on my worst enemy ! my head hurt so bad that tears ran down my face and the fever was so bad that it felt like I was in an oven. I am finally getting some relief and the fever is down.
-
Yes.
-
No I don't think so....but I have been awake for 2 whole nights in a row. I don't recommend it:-P
-
Yes, when I was much younger and stayed out all night or was sick.
-
YES..zzzzzzzzzzzzzz
-
yes Weekends were mad for sleeping...
-
o yeah lol
-
If it was possible, I would probably sleep my whole life away.
-
Yep then up all night
-
Once back in high school I woke up at like 4PM on a Saturday. I hadn't stayed up late the night before, hadn't been drinking, nothing. I walked downstairs and my mom was just like "Well good morning." I asked why she hadn't woken me she said she just figured I needed my rest. It was pretty weird.
-
No, I've never slept 24 hours in succession. I think the longest I can remember sleeping was 14 hours. I was just starting a Christmas vacation from work and was exhausted from rushing to finish a project.
-
yep but it took 2 bottles of vodka
-
yes after a hang over and once some heavy medication.
-
Yes, much to my surprise.
-
Yes! It was pleasant. I did it when I went on vacation. Ah, to wake up after a loooong relaxing 'nap' with the sound of the waves and smell of the sea...delightful!
-
yes..specially after a tough week of testing in college + 5
-
Close.
-
yes, the older i get the longer the hangover, i believe its closing in on 3 days....
-
when sick.....
-
Yes, especially when I'm sick and I have a bad flu.
-
yeah i have a few times like the first time i got high i slept for about 16 hours yeah my body totally rejected it =/
-
Only when I was very sick, or after having had to stay up for several days in a row with very little sleep.
-
Yes. Lots of times.
-
Unfortunatley I have. Felt so weird that my body didn't realize the afternoon had come. Being that I'm part of the 9-5 rat race to work and back I thought something was wrong with me but it's been years since it's happened.
-
i sure have, migraines tend to make me want to crawl away and hide.
-
nope
-
Yes - when I came back from Vegas one time, and had spent over 36 hours up, without a nap - went there one Friday night, came back early the following Sunday morning or so and slept the whole day away. I have to say, I was rested; but it sure felt weird, "waking up" in the middle of the evening at some point!...It kind of messes up your body clock for awhile, till you get back on track. That was about 28 years ago - hard to believe, but it was around 1981 when I had been living out in L.A. for about a year. G'nite!!...(ha ha)
-
i once woke until 4:30 in the afternoon.
-
When I was sick and in the bed.
-
Oh yea, every chance I get even though it's only once in a blu moon. Usually I don't get enough sleep so it's my pleasure to sleep the day away. Now I'm wondering why we use to cry about taking a nap when young only to beg for them now.....LOLOL
-
my sleep record is 25 hours... after 80 hours of being awake.
-
no. i have a sleep disorder where i cant sleep very well at all.
-
I've slept for 22 hours before.
-
Yup, I did it on Thursday!!
-
I've slept to 7 pm before.
-
Not really "slept" but I have stayed in bed all day...
-
Yeah. I've slept until about four the next day. My roomies were really worried about me, but fortunately it was on a weekend so I wasn't in trouble.
-
yes I have
-
Yes. I believe my "P.R." is 48 hours.
-
I intend to after the kids leave our house (that's in about 15 years from now)
-
I did a few times a long time ago when I had drank to much the night before. Hated it.
-
Yeah, quite a few when I was in hospital, easier to sleep than stay awake and face things! And when things were really bad when I lived with my dad I would sleep days away just so that I didnt have to see him.
-
Being bipolar I have stayed awake for up to 3 days and have slept for more than 2,it ain't pretty when I wake after 2 days though:(
-
Only a time when I was going through depression....& then at times when I was very sick physically.
-
Not for many years, although someimtes I feel like I could.
-
Oh yeah! It's SO nice when I get the chance to do that! Which is RARE :o( +3
-
A few times in the hospital, I slept for so long that I did not know if it was day or night.
-
yup after new years eve i practically passed out from 8 in the morning to 4 at night
-
I've slept an entire five years away once when I was depressed....(all proud of myself) ;+
-
There have been times when I wanted to and think I could have but have always heard that is a sign of depression. Damned if I will be depressed so I get up and go about my business. Unless of course I have a hangover and then that is a good excuse.
-
Yes, when I finished school.
-
What?! Sleep an entire day?? Are you fully fruity? Who sleeps an entire day in the first place?
-
After having worked all-nighters, yes.
-
Not an entire 24 hour day.
-
Yes, a few times.
-
Not an entire day, but I remember going to bed in a Motel at around 11:00 AM and waking up around 7:30 PM It felt great. I was a new person after that. I wish I could be able to do that more often. I read that after eight hours of continuous sleeping the body secrets some hormones or enzymes that will "repair" your body and rejuvenate your system. I swear...I felt younger after going through that sleeping process.
-
Maybe not the whole day technically speaking, but it felt like I might as well have been once I hit noon.
-
A few times when I was really sick
-
Once or twice I've done this.
-
from where?my home my wife ab?
-
No but I did for 6 hours. I was whatching casablanca because
-
I have. More then a day as a matter of fact. When I was little, like two or three my mom and dad went away on a trip. They left my older sister and I with our cousin. I went down for a nap and didn't wake up again for two days. My cousin and sister panicked. They actually thought that they killed me. Needless to say I was starving. Mid-way through a meal closely resembling breakfast I said "I still get lunch."
-
Not as in 24 hours- but did sleep 22 hours once and never stirred. No drugs, no booze; was woking 16 hour days for 3 weeks with no days off. Was young and foolish -would not recommend. +5
-
After not being asleep for 36 hours due to a family emergency, I slept for 22 hours!
-
I have yes. +5
