Does a 2006 Ford F350 with a 6.0L Diesel engine have a "Wait to Start" lamp?

    yes some times it says wait to start some times it has a horizonal squirly line

    A diesel needs a glow plug to start the engine. When it is cold the glow plug needs time to warm up and start to glow. The wait to start light is there so you give the plug time to warm up before you crank and try to start.
