How could you make sodium nitrate (NaN2) at home. If there is no way to then how could you make it from flux or (Na2CO3)

Science Dude.

First...sodium nitrate is NaNO3 The only way I can think if making it is to put elemental sodium metal into concentrated nitric acid...you can do it anywhere...but don't...the explosion would be tremendous. Buy some from Flinn.
