• Did you measure from the inside of your elbow to your wrist, with your hand bent up towards your shoulder? It might not be quite as far apart in length then.

• your forearm should be almost identical to the length of your foot...if not identical. it's actually one of the 'laws' of the human body that's actually true. wingspan= height? i don't think so...although my wingspan is almost identical to my height (only an inch longer a most) some people who are several inches shorter than me actually a longer wingspan than i do.

• it should be...in fact i most cases it's the exactly the same length. you just got to know how to measure it proper. don't have your hand bent up because then your wrist would appear further away your elbow than it actually is. i first measured my foot on my forearm once and it appeared that my forearm was longer than my foot but my hand was bent way from my elbow. But I did it again, but this time with my hand held in a natural positon--i found that my forearm and foot were exactly the same length! Interesting property of the human body isn't it? The forearm=foot 'law' is probably what many Intelligent Design purists use.

• If you measure it from the inside crease of your bent elbow to the bend at your wrist, it should be really close to the same size. This guy's foot should be on top of his arm, not under it as is pictured.

• yeah at first i thought there was no way my foot could be as long as my forearm but when i measured my forearm properly against my foot, i was shocked they were both the same length. which means that people with long ass feet have long ass forearms!

• it's an optical illusion. your forearm appears to be much longer than your foot simply because it is thinner and also because many people do not know the scientific definition of 'forearm'. the forearm is your ulna and radius bones. which, proven, scientifically are identical in length to the bones of your feet.
