Food..what looks nasty but taste good?

I like to mix my mashed potato, vegies, and ketchup together. My partner says it looks like vomit - but I maintain it all gets mixed together anyway. Food that smells bad and tastes good in interesting too... like parmensan cheese. Yum!

To me lentils look really bad but taste nice. If you've ever kept rabbits then you know what I mean.

Sushi, especially Unagi(eel). If you look at it, you'll wanna throw up. If you describe the taste, you'll wanna throw up even more...its sort of grainy, the outer layer is mucusy(I take that off), but its the most amazing thing you can ever eat in your whole life. Also, one of my mother's casseroles. They look odd, but they're really good.

Ok, you're not going to believe me, but if you close your eyes and imagine some infinitely wise confectioner came up with a wonderful, healthy indulgence, and took a bite of this, you'd be in heaven. Slice open a Medjool Date, take out the pit, spread it open, and fill it with a spoonful of Almond Butter. Enjoy slowly. Mmmmm.
