  • my personal opinion is to get a Honda. my reasons: i owned a Honda and LOVED IT, and my entire family has Hondas they are GREAT cars and last you a LONG time. my dad has had his for nearly 20 years and it still works perfectly. they have GREAT resale value.
  • Depends on what 'American' means to you. Chevy has the name, Honda has the location. I'd go for the Honda if it were me though.
  • I would saysd honda, but they are in trouble right now and may end up closing the operation in Ohio. That plant is owned by another country, remember. Bying from them is not buying American.
  • I thought Honda was Japanese...
  • Good question. I really like Buicks. Japanese car makers who build in the US are still sending most of the money to Japan. They have ethics that don't agree with mine. Just look what they did in WWII.
  • Get the Honda, first off where they make the auto is not going to help you in the long run. What you want is a vehicle that will last and does not have many repair issues. Either way make sure you get regular oil changes every 3000-5000 miles and pay attention to the noises your auto makes. So drive sometimes without the music on and listen to your auto.
  • Honda is an Asian car and is therefore sturdy. Has longer lifespan.
