  • It's not quite as simple as just pointing it out a clear window. The glass may appear clear, but if it has UV-protection it will filter out your signal! Also, you need to be facing almost directly toward your satellite to get the signal, since being at a sharp angle may keep the whole dish from 'seeing' the satellite.
  • It is really difficult : you your dish to be able to see the satellite from a window that is not really likely! You can try to verify this using website as http://www.sat-direction.com/ that draws the satellite direction on google maps.
