Despite his personal life, Michael Jackson has to be the best dancer ever. He's just a very good artist. No one else ever came close.

Michael Jackson, AntigoneRising's cat, and Donald O'Connor. Though I've not seen him in much, his performance in Singing In The Rain was outstanding, to me he was the star.

    yoho05 reminds you to DYOH

Josephine Baker, from old black and white footage that I have seen, was awesome.

Also Mary Tyler Moore is very good as a dancer, although we know her more as a TV actress.

Isadora Duncan was pretty good, as well.

Nureyev was a sight to behold, too.

    I'm afraid I can't choose just one.

Wow! this is really hard to decide, however ever dancer has advantages and disadvantages. All having their own style.

Chris Brown is an awesome dancer, one of the best clown dancers.

Here's a clip of you don't know what clown dancing is.

Fred Astaire was the best dancer in modern times.
He died back in 1987, so many young people are not familiar with him.

He was an American film and Broadway stage dancer, choreographer, singer and actor. His stage and subsequent film career spanned a total of seventy-six years, during which he made thirty-one musical films.

Balanchine and Nureyev rated him the greatest dancer of the 20th century.

    That says it right there.

He is generally acknowledged to have been the most influential dancer in the history of filmed and televised musicals.

MJ was a natural dancer no doubt about it. Had he been a trained dancer....wow what he might have done. I have to go with Baryshnikov, Nureyev, Bejones, Nijinsky, Astaire, Kelly, Desmond Richardson, and a young up and coming kid Daniil Simkin (ABT soloist) and of course Rasta Thomas.
    Check out this video.

I can think of a ton of dancers better then the both of them. Gene Kelly, Mikhail Baryshnikov, Daniil Simkin, Sylvie Guillem, Darcey Bussell, Fernando Bujones, Desmond Richardson. All the principal dancers of ABT and NYCB, The entire Kirov ballet. The list goes on and on.
