I agree with the Fred Astaire answer, and I am always blown away whenever I see Usher dance.
Fred Astaire was the best dancer in modern times.
He died back in 1987, so many young people are not familiar with him.
He was an American film and Broadway stage dancer, choreographer, singer and actor. His stage and subsequent film career spanned a total of seventy-six years, during which he made thirty-one musical films.
Balanchine and Nureyev rated him the greatest dancer of the 20th century.
That says it right there.
He is generally acknowledged to have been the most influential dancer in the history of filmed and televised musicals.
MICHAEL JACKSON is the best dancer of all time and he will be the greatest forever I love you my king MICHAEL and i'll always love you

MICHAEL JACKSON is the best dancer of all time and he will be the greatest dancer forever
MICHAEL JACKSON is the best dancer of all time and he will be forever .......

MJ was a natural dancer no doubt about it. Had he been a trained dancer....wow what he might have done. I have to go with Baryshnikov, Nureyev, Bejones, Nijinsky, Astaire, Kelly, Desmond Richardson, and a young up and coming kid Daniil Simkin (ABT soloist) and of course Rasta Thomas.
Check out this video.
I can think of a ton of dancers better then the both of them. Gene Kelly, Mikhail Baryshnikov, Daniil Simkin, Sylvie Guillem, Darcey Bussell, Fernando Bujones, Desmond Richardson. All the principal dancers of ABT and NYCB, The entire Kirov ballet. The list goes on and on.
Fred Astair, Ginger Rodgers, Joesaphine Baker, Mikeal Barisnakoff, Micheal Faltly, Jean Butler, Gene Kelly, and that guy they used for the Mumbo in Happy Feet and anyone ableto make it to the Ohio Ballet, The New York Ballet or the Russian Ballet. Just amazing to watch.
James Brown, hands down!
Gene Kelly , Fred Astaire, Ginger Rogers,Gregory Hines. They all made it look so easy !

by PoINte qUeeN on July 18th, 2007
Be that as it may, that doesn't change any of the positive things he's done.
by Talimze on July 18th, 2007
what postitve things has hs done?
by PoINte qUeeN on July 18th, 2007
Well, like I said, no one ever came close to his artistic ability. He was the best and still is the best. That's at least a little positive.
by Talimze on July 18th, 2007
What positive things has he done?
He is one of the most charitable humanitarians there is, he's given back to his community (both famous black performers and non famous) and things of that nature.
by flo on August 10th, 2008
There is actually many possitive things about Michael Jackson. Like flo said he is one of the most charitable people on this planet and in my oppinion not a single person is completely bad or completely good iehter. We don't know what Michael Jackson is like when he's at home with his friends and family, he could be an arse whole or he could be the nicest person ( I'm leaning more towards the latter) But one thing is for sure he is one of the best entertainers there ever was and no one can take that away from him and just for that I have a lot of respect for this man.
