  • I don't have a definitve answer, but I know that in April of 1969, the Fifth Dimension had a #1 song called Aquarius/Let the Sunshine in (the flesh failures) but in April of 1975, BJ Thomas topped the charts with (Hey Won't You Play) Another Somebody Done Somebody Wrong Song which is approx 50 characters (excluding spaces) the top 15 songs which charted in the top 100 range from 56 to 104 characters. (all of this does not include material from the last 5 yeras because my text is out of date...sorry)
