I hope it isn't coming my way!! I've seen enough for one winter. When I hear 'blizzard' I think of the blizzard of 78 when cars were stranded all over the highways and we couldn't drive our cars for three days by order of the governor.

I think of heavy snow falling at the rate of 3" - 5" per hour. I think of heavy winds blowing that snow, huge snow drifts blocking roads and impeding travel, I think of white-outs and zero visibility where you can't see your hands in front of your face. I think of biting cold, knife-like penetrating hail and snow mix, and life-threatening conditions for anyone who is caught outside. When I hear the word "Blizzard," I think of danger.
