Another Deserted Island question. Do you wait to be rescued or do you make a raft and try to sail home?

depends on how i am fairing on my own on the island. i would rather not take my chances on the open ocean with a raft i made myself, so if i can find enough food and clean water and there isnt anything that makes me want to get off the island immediatly, i would stay there, but try to make myself more noticeable like making fires with lots of smoke or writing out big messages with colorful objects on the beach. but if i felt i had to get off, i guess i would. but its even harder to be found in the ocean than on an island, let alone to survive.
